I attended Findlay University, Findlay, Ohio, as an art and psychology major.   I soon realized that being trained to become a teacher, was not what I wanted.  Practical as that is, I was an artist and needed experience in that direction. After two-and-a half years, I went off on my own to develop my skills as an Artist.

A few paintings from that time period:

"Ohio Farm"
Oil on Canvas
48" x 60"

In the Collection of:
Hancor Inc.,
Findlay, OH

"Vermont Landscape"
Oil on Canvas
60" x 60"

In the Collection of:

Marathon Oil Co.,
Findlay, OH

"Still Life"
Acrylic on Canvas
30" x 24"

Acrylic on Canvas
24" x 22"

"Bottles & Bubbles"
Woodblock Print
26" x 21"

"Cabin in the Hills"
7" x 8"

I eventually went on to build
a cabin after I left school.

Creating a self-sufficient life-style, allowed me the time to study and practice the art of being an artist.
