Bolt of Insight
I find that archetypal symbols carry meaning that speak to a deeper part of the Human Soul. While living in the Arizona desert, I experienced a lightening bolt that touched down on the earth only 500 yards from me. There was SUCH power in that moment. Weaving that experience into a carving...the power of the lightening bolt is jolting the "egg" (potential for new life) into consciousness.
